I swore I wouldn’t look like an awkward mess at my own engagement, but there I was, nervously fidgeting in a room full of people, wondering what to do with my face while Kruthika worked her quiet magic behind the lens. Kruthika had a great task at hand: capturing two extremely camera-shy people who couldn’t pose even if their lives depended on it. Thank god she’s allergic to fake poses and only chases real, candid moments. She captured everything, the awkward giggles, the soft glances, the moment I almost tripped trying to be elegant. And somehow, it all looked good? Like, Pinterest-board good. Magazine-cover good. “Wait, is this us?” good. Kruthika didn’t just take pictures; she caught micro-moments that felt like secrets, like the way he looked at me when he thought no one was watching. I’ve spent years dodging cameras and emotion, but she got both. And now I have proof that we clean up nice and maybe even love each other or whatever. 10/10 would trust her again.

I had this 8-year-old YouTube video in mind with the song “Rude” and no clue how to actually make it happen, but you were so excited about it and just made it all real. I’ve worked with Kruthika for over 4 years. I had my first professional photoshoot done with them. They see people in the best way possible and know the best lighting to capture that essence. I’ve also seen wedding photos that they have taken & each wedding they shoot, they have multiple photos that the couple can show their grandkids to show the love they shared on their special day.
